A fuel oil contaminated double bottom and side water ballast tank has been manually cleaned, demucked, high pressure washed by fresh water and chemicals in 15 days at Tuzla roads in Istanbul. After cleaning the leakage has been eliminated by inserting a new plate, UT examination has been done with satisfactory result.
